Nan Yang, Ph. D., associate professor in Dep. of Food and Pharmacy Engineering of Hubei University of Technology. she graduated from the Department of Physics, Jilin University, with bachelor degree in science, in 2003. In 2006, she achieved master degree from the National Key Lab of Superhard Materials, Jilin University. Then she studied in the University of Western Ontario in Canada, majoring in condensed matter physics, and was granted doctor’s degree of philosophy in 2011. From Sep. 2011 to Dec. 2013, she worked for Unilever as an senior researcher. Her research interest is focusing on the rheology of complex food fluids, and food sensation. She has published 18 international articles and reports (including 10 SCI) and applied one patent.
